After a week hiatus, we're back in action.  The boys from JoeSportsFan discussed a little March Madness and then brought on some cyber homies for the regular "Wiffle Ball" round table segment.

This week featured Greg Wyshynski (Yahoo's Puck Daddy), Dan Levy (OnTheDLPodcast.com) and our very own featured columnist, Jason Major.

The infamous "Wiffle Ball" round table featured the following topics:

  • If you could automatically mute one NCAA Tournament (CBS, ESPN, etc) analyst, who would you choose?

  • ESPN NCAA College Gameday meets Wrestlemania.  Who wins?

  • If you could pick one fast food item to eat on a deserted island, what would it be?

  • You have to build your sports franchise around one cartoon character.  Go.

  • CBS asks you to come up with an alternative song to "One Shining Moment".  Your pick.

I like Lundquist's voice too much on football to mute him. Yeah, it's basketball, but he's still better than a lot of these twits. I'll go with Raftery. He's just old and bitter and annoying. Go drink a prune smoothy, Bill. We'll call if anything good happens.

Good comment about Lundquist. I second that.

I would mute Verne Lundquist. I think part of his pre-game prep is learning one new obscure word before each game and then seeing how many times he can use that word during the game. The Lundquist/Raftery team, with Vern's pretentious new vocabulary word and Raftery's inability to make his excitement sound genuine, is insufferable.

Answer to question 4 has to be Taz. He would dominate a football field.

Thanks goodness. I was left with a void last week. Listening now.
