The NFL's only two absolutes remained pure following Sunday's games. The Titans took down Jacksonville to improve to 10-0...and the Lions lost at Carolina to remain winless at 0-10.

Tennessee's defensive captain, Jevon Kearse, has been very animated in his team's last two victories - holding a "10-0" sign after Sunday's win, and portraying "9-0" by using his #90 jersey number in the preceding week.

The Detroit players aren't as resourceful...but their fans are quite the visionaries.

Despite the spelling error, it's a steadfast rule that if you're ever using duct tape to assist your masterplan...it's probably not as creative as you thought.

(Thanks to Jesse, from Detroit, for the tip. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?)

In the "LOOSER LiONS FAN's" defense, one of the most misspelled words in the english language is loser.

I can't get over the duct tape. Love it.
The Sports Hernia, November 18, 2008 07:11 AM
I absolutely love everything about the Lions this year.

Patrick...let me one up you on the "dot". While you are absolutely correct in pointing out the care it took to make such a large "dot"...I need to know why, exactly, this 'looser' felt the need to use it in the first place. Considering all other letter are in CAPS...why did he feel the need to make his "i" lower case? Did he think we'd confuse it with a lower case "l"...thus making him a Llons fan? Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to go with the upper case "I" if he thought there would be some confusion? I need answers...can Jesse from Detroit clear this up for us?

Still not as bad as my jersey.

Still plenty of sluts in Detroit.

Hey, come on now. Maybe he really did mean "loose", as in he's looser than most fans, those who are all tense and tight at the prospect of going winless. Ah screw it, it's wrong, but he did spell 67% of the words right.

That is totally irresponsible of Lions' fan. With all that duct tape on his shirt, what exactly is holding the city together? And maybe your part of the dump of a city you live in is all good on the duct tape front, but how do you think that frivolous usage makes people in Baltimore feel? Some people have to sell a lot of crack/steal to get that much duct tape together. Think of that next time Detroit fan.

I like how our Detroit fan went the extra effort to dot his I. It's as if he started with a standard dot, realized it was too small, made it bigger - and then realized it wasn't a perfect sphere so he had to enlarge it to fix the problem. He spent a lot of time on that dot.

George Wright went on to be wildly successful in the 80's rap game when he ditched the curl in favor of a high fade and reverted back to his childhood nickname, Big Daddy Kane.
