As we've discussed in the past, there's something intriguing about "crazy fan man" in situations when the intense game atmosphere is removed.  After all, an obese man covered in body paint in his car on the highway before the game is just a, well...obese man covered in body paint.

Without the game, there is no "crazy fan man".

Moments when the game doesn't go exactly as planned also qualify as these intriguing scenarios.  When crazy fan man is crafting the perfect homemade sign, or putting the final touches on his face paint...he never imagines that his team will be in a compromising position.

However, it was all too real for crazy Phillies fans during Game 3 of the World Series in Philadelphia.  Although the Phillies rallied for a bottom of the ninth 5-4 victory over Tampa, it got a little hairy in the two preceding innings when the Rays erased a 4-1 deficit.

Such is life for this crazy Philly fan man - who was captured in the upper deck at Citizen's Bank Park thinking more about the terrible influx of sweaty-nut-sweat upon the removal of his costume, rather than executing his plan to be God's gift to section 434.

Side Note: Although we like to poke fun at this fan, he's a genius if he purposely dressed in this costume to affectively portray a "chicken Philly".

It kind of looks like he's thinking about diving overboard.

This guy just looks so unhappy.

Mitch Webster

Even though they already had elastic around the ankles, Mitch Webster still insisted on tight rolling his baseball pants.
