As you *may* have noticed by now, the USA/Canada Slow-Pitch Softball post from Tuesday caused a decent (read: highly satisfying) uproar.  Softball hooligans and groupies came out by the dozens to defend their craft, and we thank them for the entertainment.  We thought it was only appropriate to address some of the "issues" during the first segment of our podcast this week.

After discussing the ins and outs of grown, mustached men playing around on a field of dirt, Sebek and Bacott were joined by show-favorites Jimmy Traina (SI.com's "Hot Clicks"), Dan Levy (OnTheDLPodcast.com) and Don Povia (Hugging Harold Reynolds).

Among the questions asked on Episode 23 of the "JoeSportsFan Show":

1.) You're the commissioner of Major League Baseball and demand that all teams must incorporate one literal aspect from their team mascot name into their standard uniforms.  Which team threads are you the most excited about?

2.) Best inspirational speech from a sports movie.  Go.

3.) Assuming every prominent athlete past and present wrote an autobiography in which they were required to be 100% honest throughout, whose book would you read first?

4.) This past weekend, the ESPY awards on ESPN aired its 17th annual show.  If the show added an award for "Worst Athlete Hair" who would you vote for?

5.) Name your favorite athlete appearance and/or reference on "Seinfeld".

In the episode where Kramer drives the handsome cab and takes susan's parents around in the "marble rye" episode, he claims in his tour that Central Park was designed by Joe Pepitone. And in case you're wondering, yes, I watch way more Seinfeld than anyone should
