Sebek and Bacott kicked off Episode 22 of the JoeSportsFan Show talking about the events in and around Busch Stadium this week at the MLB All Star Game.  Topics included Stan Musial, Obama's snipers, what it meant for the city of St. Louis, and the high percentage of mustaches/mullets/jean shorts that were represented at the festivities.  Fun stuff.

This week, the JoeSportsFan commercial (produced by our very own Patrick Imig) features a tribute to one of history's greatest video game athletes, Paste, from Nintendo's "Bases Loaded".

Moving into the critically-acclaimed "Wiffle Ball" round table segment, we were pleased to be joined by two returning guests, JE Skeets (Yahoo!'s "Ball Don't Lie") and Eamonn Brennen (Yahoo!'s "The Dagger" and MouthpieceSports.com).  The veterans certainly didn't disappoint.

The JoeSportsFan Show Podcast

Topics for Episode 22 with Skeets and Brennan included:

1.) What do you think is the most entertaining fringe All Star event in all of sports (e.g. HR Derby, NHL Skills, Dunk Contest, etc)?

2.) The roof of Busch Stadium was lined with snipers during President Obama's Ceremonial First Pitch at the All Star Game.  If you were one of those snipers and decided to pick off one type of stadium vendor (e.g. Cotton Candy guy, Foam Finger seller, etc.), who would you choose?

3.) What is one piece of sports equipment from a sports movie that you would prompt you to get into an all-out eBay bidding war?

4.) What is your favorite all time athlete pre game ritual (e.g. Lebron chalk toss)?

5.) For entertainment value, who is one person you would like to see throw out a ceremonial first pitch on a national stage such as the All Star Game?

For those ill-informed, we've recently updated the "RADIO" page on JoeSportsFan.com, so you can listen to past/current episodes of the JoeSportsFan Show right here on the website, within your standard web browser.  Pretty snazzy, eh?

For those that choose to be a little more tech savvy, you can subscribe to our iTunes podcast - where you can download past episodes and new episodes will automatically be downloaded (for free, of course) to your home computer or favorite mobile device.  Also pretty snazzy.

That's two usages of the word "snazzy", which officially signals the end of a blog post.

How did no one pick Jordan clapping chalk in Johnny Red Kerr's face for

Bob James

In 1988, the FBI conducted a random survey asking people to describe what a prototypical "serial killer" would look like. 85% of them described Bob James.
